Format 1: Professional Quality Brochure

You can choose any program you like to make your brochure, but the final product needs to be professional quality. Starting from a Canva template will help you keep your focus on the content!

Canva for Beginners

If you need help getting started in Canva, you can navigate through this Canva for Beginners playlist by clicking on the triple bars with the arrow (top right corner) and then selecting a video from the list.

Downloading & Sharing Your Design

First, rename your project by clicking in the title at the top of the page in Canva. Be sure to include the project name and your name in the title. This will be your file name.

Next, follow the directions to the right to Download your design. Then, upload that file to the assignment in Classroom.

Create a series of informative images (5-10) to share together in a single Instagram-style post or in multiple short videos similar to Reels or TikToks. These images/videos should be well organized and detailed enough to serve as a quick reference for crime scene investigators. *You will not actually post these images/videos to social media.* Curate your images/videos in a Google Slides presentation, Google Site, or Sutori page.
